About Me

Professor Dr. Rizwan Zafar Ahmad graduated from King Edward Medical University and attained his fellowship degree in Medicine from the College of Physician & Surgeons Pakistan in 2004. Before joining Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College, he served in Jinnah Hospital, The University of Lahore and Shalamar Medical & Dental College, Lahore.

He has a keen interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as training the house officers in core competencies during their tenure. He aims to uplift the standards of medical teaching according to the latest trends in medical education. As a clinician, he has an interest in the subject of gastroenterology, hepatology, and diabetes mellitus. He has attended many national & international conferences both as a participant and as a guest speaker.

He desires to do the best to teach the medical students of Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College as that they can raise the standards of the institute.
